22 cheap ways for nurses to de-stress

22. Go on a Picnic

A picnic is a relaxing (and affordable!) way to spend quality time with your friends and family. You don’t have to pack a fancy spread or bottle of champagne to make it a worthwhile trip. Ask everyone to sign up to bring a dish, and turn it into a potluck.

Looking for something on the romantic side? Stop by your local farmer’s market and pick up some strawberries and melt your own chocolate for a delicious treat.

Cost: Finding a shady patch of grass and laying down a blanket doesn’t cost a thing. Pony up the dough for store-bought goods, or make something at home on the cheap.
