OMG! No one says "Male Nurse" anymore, not even the little old ladies in Pittsburgh. The public is getting used to males in nursing, and it's about time. I find the label "male nurse" offensive and sexist. Let's step into the new millenium.

I was actually in marching band in high school and college, and was in a World Class competitive drum and bugle corps in my late teens/early twenties. In drum corps we traveled all over the country, all summer, rehearsing 10 to 14 hours a day in the heat and humidity. Kids were always getting sick and going down do to the heat, the sun and dehydration. Now that I am nurse I have spend many weekends volunteering with the same drum and bugle corps providing the medical assistance that was not there when I was member.

I have to admit that I am totally addicted to this show now. Caesar don't give up on it!!! Something tells me that Mike and Veronica will get back together. Per the last few shows, they want us to think he's the only one that really understand her! Also I'm real curious to see where this Dr. Dawson story line is going!

Veronica you are such a B_____! I thought you were back with Mike, Instead you sleep with the doc. I will never forgive you for that. NBC did the show injustice as most people wanted Mike.
So I wish you and the doc all the worst in y'alls personal life/
Goodbye Mercy forever.

IT IS NO MYTH. This attitude of nursing eating their young is the rule not the exception. We should not have nurses in charge of anything except the wards. Hospitals would be better off bringing in management people to run the day to day nursing operation.Let nurses do nursing. The people at my first hospital were so cold and cuthroat that I left and found work in another nursing facility and although not as bad it still sucks. There needs to be a revamping of how this job sees itself and get rid of the unprofessional old women who don't have a clue as what people skills are.
