Course requirements for applicants:
All students (new freshmen or transfer students) who are interested in pursuing the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), are admitted to NMSU and the College of Health and Social Services as pre-nursing majors (PNUR).
Experience required for residency/new grad programs:
Scholarship Requirements: Be admitted to NMSU-Las Cruces campus Enroll full-time in classes on the Las Cruces campus (unless otherwise stated) ** A student may only receive one major scholarship. ** Scholarship awards depend on availability of funds. ** All scholarships are subject to change in accordance with federal, state, and university regulations. Students who do not meet the scholarship renewal criteria will still have the New Mexico Legislative Lottery Scholarship, assuming they meet the renewal criteria for that scholarship. ** NMSU uses combined scores from the critical reading and math portions of the SAT for admission and scholarship purposes.
