Course requirements for applicants:
Applicants should be in the upper half of their high school graduating class. The high school program should include foreign language, algebra, chemistry and biology. Physics is also recommended. Applications to the professional nursing program are submitted during the second semester of the freshman year.
Experience required for residency/new grad programs:
Nursing students in the undergraduate program at Goshen College are eligible to receive scholarships through the financial aid department. There are approximately 26 scholarships that are distributed each year to nursing students based on specific criteria. In addition, the college has numerous endowed scholarships that are also available to nursing students. Each scholarship is based on need and specific criteria, which usually includes a required specific G.P.A. The financial aid department reviews each student situation to determine scholarship distribution.
