“How do I build better work relationships?”

Nursing is anything but ordinary. However, as is the case for any other part-of-a-team professional, it’s imperative that nurses establish a positive (or at least productive) relationship with their coworkers. So, how do you get started on the right foot? Or operate as a team when Nurse (insert name here) isn’t exactly your cup of tea?

In this week’s episode of “The Katie Duke Show” on ScrubsBeat, Katie discusses why and how to foster working relationships that are meaningful and effective.

Check out the video below to find out what Katie has to say, then tell us what you do to help maintain a positive atmosphere in the workplace, come (scheduling) rain or shine.

Perhaps a useful video fir new people starting but didn’t really say anything about working with colleagues that are difficult, moody and who you feel quite uncomfortable to be around.

It’s all to do with professionalism and respect, and not really about various groups loudly wanting publicity. In the end the nature of the work draws respect; you can’t impose it by political diktat.
