Minorities encouraged to enter nursing

Michigan Radio reports that minorities are being encouraged to enter the nursing profession to meet the projected demand of growing health care needs for the state’s aging population.  Saginaw Valley State University, with the help of an 855 thousand dollar federal grant, will provide stipends and scholarships to 45 students.
