After spending more time with the man, new nurse Zoey doesn’t think that the symptoms match up with the diagnosis. When she asks Dr. O’Hara to also examine the patient, an aneurysm is discovered.

Regarding the poll~both the question & the tone in which you asked it was condescending. Nurses are not children who “go behind a doctor’s back”. We have every right and are obligated to question a doctor’s opinion, descision, or “order” in the interest of our patients’ safety. By the way, it was DVT that was in the patient’s leg.
