IMPORTANT ADVICE FOR EVERYONE
Make sure your scrubs fit properly. Wearing loose-fitting scrub tops and bottoms won’t make you look your best. Loose scrubs will hug you in the wrong places and hang from the body in other places.
You may need to do a bit of tailoring to achieve the right fit, but it’s worth it. Scrubs that fit correctly can make a big difference in how you look and feel.
Lastly, don’t worry about the size number. Beauty comes in every size! Wear whatever size fits you best. You’ll be happy you did.

Writing for the Post has been great, but I haven’t been able to use my expertise in fashion. Writing for Scrubs gives me the opportunity to write and give fashion tips! A perfect combo." More
I am not sure how I feel about the photo that is with this article. It’s a baby phat model image that has been stretched to make her look more “curvy”.

You know, you’re right. And we removed it. We had a really tough time finding a portrayal of a “curvy nurse!” We replaced the image and hope you agree that it works better for the article. All best, The Scrubs Editors
Working on OB our scrubs are picked for us, and our new ones are pretty much the oppposite of what this article says I should be wearing! I know I chose my speciality-but I hate being told what to wear.
There’s nothing I hate more than a thong or colored panties underneath white scrub pants. It kills me! But on another note I recently lost some weight and had to make darts in the back of my tops. They have a much better line & fit now.
I have problems with the large bust thing. I bought scrubs that were a size larger in the top cause they were the only ones that would fit over my bust, now I feel like I’m wearing a tent. It’s baggy everywhere else, and I even had a patient ask if I was pregnant and another tell me I was fat cause it’s so big. I have to wear one color and I have not been able to find many stylish choices in that color.
I think it’s wrong that just because I’m your nurse for today does not mean you have the right to call me fat.
The tip that worked best for me was when we brought in weight watchers to our facility. Lost 20 pounds and my scrubs look great
