Retired nurses in Columbus, Ohio, no longer need to experience the limitations of patient care as a typical volunteer. A special program has been created just for RN’s to allow them to perform many more duties as a regular nurse would.

According to retired nurses who are participating in the program, the experience puts them back in touch with what they love to do — patient care — in a stress-free environment.

The RN Volunteer program at Riverside Methodist Hospital launched in July, 2009.

Retired nurses who are interested in volunteering can do so by calling 614-566-2669.
