Not knowing when to log off. Social media use at the workplace has become a real issue. Nucleus Research conducted a Facebook study that targeted office workers, but the results are no doubt applicable to all work environments. The study found that almost half of employees use Facebook at work, resulting in a significant drop in work productivity.

How many times have you looked around the unit to see your coworkers’ heads buried in their mobile devices and iPads? Social media is meant to make your life more convenient, not turn you into a bad nurse.

Answer this question honestly: Are you  in control of your social media use? Here’s a guideline to see if it’s time you signed off of Facebook.
