A new age for nursing

Nursing is a lot of things—a career, a passion, a calling. What nursing is not is a profession better suited for women, even if public perception has yet to reach a consensus on the matter.

So, in this week’s episode of “The Nurse Mendoza Show” on ScrubsBeat, Nurse Mendoza is addressing the all-too-common misconception that nursing is a woman’s field—and he’s calling on his fellow nurses to do the same.

    Male nursing student here. I completely agree with what you’re saying, and you’ve been one of my inspiration to take a look at nursing school and to apply to the program!

    I’ve had a few hospitalizations & surgeries & can honestly say that I think the male nurses that I had were far more compassionate!
