Sue Allen, a neonatal intensive care nurse, was diagnosed with lung cancer in 2005. Before her diagnosis she was a self-described adventurer - a wife and mother who enjoyed walnut farming, snow skiing and scuba diving. Everything she was before has helped her become what she is today - a cancer survivor and an advocate for assay directed targeted therapy.
