“I remember MY first time in scrubs…”

Whether it was 10 years ago or 10 days ago, stepping into uniform for the first time can make for a truly memorable experience.

In this week’s episode of “The Nurse Mendoza Show” on ScrubsBeat, Nurse Mendoza describes the excitement he felt stepping into his very first pair of scrubs as a student nurse. Check out the video below to find out more about the scrubs that have been with him from day one—including where they are now, years worth of wear and tear later.

In the comments, tell us about your first time wearing scrubs…how did you feel that day? Where are those scrubs now? Sound off below!

Still have my first scrubs as well. They are bleach spotted from working at an animal shelter, but I still have them. Working in a veterinary hospital, I cannot have enough pockets. I like to pair a Cherokee three pocket top with Carhartt cargo (10 pockets :O ) rip-stop pants. Having patients who are extremely overdue for a nail trim, make rip-stop fabric a bright idea for pants.
