All allergies can be classified
into four different types:
Type I
Immediate reaction
(anaphylactic reaction or natural rubber latex allergy)
Type II
Cytotoxic
(cells are treated as allergens by immune system)
Type III
Immune complex allergies
(foreign substances in blood bond with antibodies)
Type IV
Delayed-onset allergies, cellular immune reaction
(transplant, contact, medication or chemical)
