Mary Jane Nealon, RN, MFA, currently works with people with HIV/AIDS at Partnership Health Center in Missoula, Mont., where she lives. She is the author of "Beautiful Unbroken: One Nurse’s Life," winner of the 2010 Bakeless Prize for Nonfiction. She is also the author of two collections of poetry.
