Three siblings, Cally, Caitlyn, and Colton Servick, were born premature at Golisano Children’s Hospital.

Cally doesn’t remember her time in the hospital, but the experience helped shape her career path.

“Growing up, I knew I wanted to have that kind of impact on someone,” Cally said.

This summer, Cally returned to the hospital as a nurse. She met up with Candy, who treated her as a young baby.

“It makes you realize how you impact lives and what these babies can become,” Candy said.

Cally has only been on the job for a few weeks, but she believes she found her place.

She is now training with the nurses who once cared for her.

“I aspire to be even half the nurses they are,” Cally said. “And to give that much of an impact to someone is my goal.”
